TVXQ, Super Junior, Big Bang, and U-Kiss have been confirmed as participants for the a-nation concert.
On the 4th of June, Japanese entertainment agency AVEX revealed the list of artistes that would be participating in a-nation, which will be held at the Nagai Stadium, Osaka on the coming 18th and 19th August, and also the Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo on the 25th and 26th of August.
The first day of the concert on 18th August sees the appearance of popular artistes under AVEX, including Every Little Thing and EXILE, while on the 19th, artistes such as AAA, Acid Black Cherry, Do As Infinity, TRF, as well as TVXQ who are currently undergoing activities in Japan under AVEX’s wing, will be performing.
TVXQ is scheduled to make an appearance at the Tokyo concert on the 25th of August, and SM Entertainment labelmates Super Junior’s name had also appeared on the lineup. The names of Big Bang and U-Kiss were listed as performers for the final day on the 26th of August.
a-nation is a large-scale concert tour organised every summer by AVEX, which is the entertainment agency for many popular Japanese artistes. During last year’s Tokyo concert, the Japanese music industry was taken by surprise when TVXQ performed the ending stage in place of Ayumi Hamasaki, who has performed at the ending for a-nation ever since its conception in 2002.
